Orthopaedic Monthly

The chairman and a professor of Orthopaedic Surgery for the University of Toledo Medical Center, Dr. Nabil Ebraheim directs the school’s residency and trauma fellowship programs. In addition, Dr. Nabil Ebraheim is an editor for the Orthopaedic Monthly newsletter.

Published by the Orthopaedic Center at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Orthopaedic Monthly includes patient stories and information on the latest advancements in orthopaedic treatments. Orthodpaedic Monthly is available in both hard copy and electronic versions, and medical personnel can receive CME credit by subscribing to the newsletter, submitting a fee, and correctly answering a minimum of four out of five questions appearing in a monthly issue of the newsletter.

CME questions in the September 2016 issue of Orthapaedic Monthly related to the origin of the brachialis muscle and to risk factors of compartment syndrome, among other areas. The September 2016 newsletter also included articles on isolated fibular fractures and the condition known as Little Leaguer’s shoulder.
