A young woman who relies on access to Planned Parenthood, who wants to be able to have a legal and safe abortion if necessary, who has never understood the logic behind getting paid less than my male colleagues for the same work, and who doesn’t want to have to walk home at night with my keys tightly clasped in my fist and the lie ‘my father’s a cop!’ frothing at my mouth in case I’m attacked in the dark.
