It’s started around 10 months ago, at least that’s what I thought. Piece by piece teeny tiny bacterias were eating my body alive and I didn’t even know it’s happening. I call them silent enemies.

Today (actually right now) I’m sitting in the medical centre where Lyme Disease is treated and I feel lucky. Lucky because I was able to discover this horrible thing before it irreversibly destroys my organism.

I’m not writing this post for people to feel sorry for me. …

In the last few months, many people asked me why I’ve decided to launch Teach for Poland. There are actually many reasons and every time someone asks me this question it feels like an invitation to deepen my personal why.

Disclaimer, I’m learning how to be vulnerable so bare with me, please.

Let’s start from the beginning…

I was a very good student, chasing the best marks, leading school initiatives, participating in many extra curriculum activities. It was in my nature to be proactive and engage in many things but somewhere deep down I knew I’m doing most of it…

Time flies, and as it’s happening we are able to get perspective. This piece will be about my perspective on dealing with life after AIESEC. I guess it might be useful as well for those who changed their job after a few years and were struggling with finding themselves in the new reality.

Life after AIESEC sounds a little bit dramatic, but honestly, it was and sometimes still is. During my early twenties, I’ve been called a leader, manager, president, role-model and many others.. you might think that it’s odd for such a young person. During my early twenties, I…

Recently I have a feeling that the only thing that others want me to do is to listen to all their „NOs” or „it’s impossible” and simply give up.

When people became so pessimistic?

I get that, wearing a black hat from time to time it’s needed. It keeps me grounded as I tend to fly in the clouds, but isn’t it more pleasant just to have an attitude that it will simply work out?

A few months ago I made a decision that I want to open my own social enterprise, and my journey of listening to „no” has…

I’m going through a lot of changes recently. I mean, we all do as change is constant. One of the most absorbing topics in last weeks was the way how and for how long I am building relations or relationships with other people. Literally everyone: friends, boyfriends, family, co-workers etc.

I am really pushing myself to understand:

Why some people appear in my life?
Why some relations are temporary and others don’t?

Why those exact relations are temporary and not others?
Why am I choosing those specific people to enter my life? …

It’s raining. 10 degrees outside the window and I finally decided to sum up my Colombian experience.
I am in my hometown now, sitting in cozy coffee place and there are few people sitting around me. I like to look at people while listening to music, just to observe them. I have no idea what they are talking about or thinking about but I can read so much from their body language, it’s crazy. Like I am telling myself their story without knowing them at all.

Well, I am losing my point here. Story right! My Colombian story.

Colombia will…

I spend last 27 hours traveling. Time has come to come back from Colombia to Poland. I really wanted to sum up my Colombian experience during those hours in flights but somehow I couldn’t. It felt like it’s too soon or maybe it felt like I really don’t want to close this experience.

One thing that I’ve learned about myself some time ago is the fact that I tend to give meaning literally to anything what is happening in my life. I can’t stand meaningless things, relations, movies, conversations.. and what is more important meaningless travels. Instead of summing up…

How many times did you feel proud of yourself as you show support to another person? How many times did you help someone because you think that you are capable of doing it?

Hopefully, the answer is “many”, right?

At the end of the day as humankind, we like to support other people even from selfish reasons. You know this feeling when you helped someone — you feel needed, you feel capable of doing something for or instead or others. It’s always nice to see gestures of gratitude from others or hear words “without you I wouldn’t be able to…

There are only 8 days left for me in Colombia. It’s hard to believe that time here passed faster than anywhere else.

There are many things that I’ve learned in last days but if I could sum up it with one major learning it would be that everything in your life happens for a reason. You might take time to understand it, but trust me you will.
