I Get Borderline Aroused by Books, Not Kidding
Thank you for a good topic that I rarely find somebody that will consider me a normal individual to discuss it with. We are all facing the new reality that social media is the new order that dictates sophistication one selfie at a time and one horror genre self posts colored with rants about topics that would induce a seizure in people that not rust-colored yet. But for enlightenment of the soul to be official, you need to practice science and read the arts of the day. It looks daunting but forcing the mind to analyze photos of friends and acquaintances and deduce wealth approximations, politics of weddings, signs of pregnant women, come up with conclusions about non-compatible couples, and the rest of the hard sciences! Then comes the arts, learning how to study satisfaction, happiness, and the rest of the Pandora box of the never ending emotional struggles of human nature. The road is filled with bumps like reaching the Nirvana of losing your rage and stalking behavior and jealousy.
Yuck. I value social media when used for anything that presents an added value like getting news tidbits that never reach formal media outlet. I find value my ability to keep up with MY family. Twitter provides endless help for me. I use it to connect with my favorite bands or authors. It provides a successful tool to complain to your declining favorite outlet. And yeah, finally, it is my solidarity app. Horrified with this week’s episode, read how all people seem to share your fantasies and analysis.
I still will always love books because I like how they smell and the way they look. It gives me enormous pleasure to interact with the simple design with the ink shine and the paper as they flow. The cover design provides the hypnotic episode that makes me buy the the piece of art (the book), without looking up reviews and critics recommendations. THAT IS ALL. A book’s content does not grant a free badge for completing it. I do not make the book the wise elderly of the village. To wrap it up I agree in the benefit of reading or even benefits should not be overlooked. Reading improves the word count in possession and the richer this count, the easier it is to communicate with better accuracy and finer detail. This means clarity and the gift of enhancing literacy in the form of a developing proficiency in reading and writing. That does not translate to competency or knowledge. Education all the way up to intellectualism are different concepts.
