Starting a startup.

Taking the first step to start a startup is a hard thing to do. It’s relatively easy starting a startup with lots of money. And so we found out it’s kinda easy starting with none too. Here’s a list of things we didn’t pay for (or give away equity for):

• Office space — Ask
• Logo design — Do it yourself
• Web development — Do it yourself
• Pitch deck — If you think I’m paying someone to design me a pitch deck you’re having a laugh. I didn’t even know that was a thing. Do it your damn self.
• Copy writing — Do it yourself
• Marketing — Do it yourself
• Laptop — Ask
• Business card design — Do it yourself
• Content writing — Do it yourself
• Mentoring — Ask
• Startup boot camps — Ask/read
• Conferences — Ask or Speak at them (do it yourself)
