Bright sunlight reflected off a perfectly cold pool

Of rocks and water, a spring from the earth,

Soothing and calming

As the natural lithium soaks in

And creates this moment in timeless time.

— A sense memory of a visit to Lithia Springs, Florida, sometime in the 1970’s.

From Kathy Jacobs’ One-Lined Poem prompt: Spring. Thanks to Kathy Jacobs.
