You must be up in the panhandle near Pensacola or perhaps on the coast near Jacksonville. I suppose it’s all in the subgroup of people you see every day. I was a Central Floridian, and my folks had Georgia accents (ancestrally drifted from So. Georgia back in the ancient days) so maybe that’s why. But everyone else was from everywhere else, so I get what you’re saying about the lack of a sticky accent!
