A spark bridges a gap,

Creating all that is;

Without here and there, no space would exist,

No movement would animate the universe,

Open-ended, zero entropy, no excitement,

No sparkling light emissions, no reactions of life —

Space is change,

Space is imagination made manifest.

What goes on in the shadows of the sleeping mind? Screen capture from The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari excerpt, YouTube

Days spent in sixty-cycle automation,

I sift the junk of many years

All day.

Then, drugged against the pain

Of rubbing, disintegrating joints,

I collapse in the snug bedtime

To read, to turn off the monkey

Typing madly in my head,

As it spins in pointless circles.

I would wish to design

A single lovely thought —

But I can’t stay awake

Long enough.

So this is it.

‘Night y’all. 8D
