How to participate?

Participating in DeepSea Adventures is simple. All you need is a non-custodial wallet, such as Bloom or MetaMask. Bloom is a user-centric wallet that supports IOTA, Shimmer, and Shimmer EVM in a single intuitive interface.

If using MetaMask, ensure that you include the ShimmerEVM network by adding it as a new network. Adding this network is essential, given that the majority of the campaign’s tasks are conducted on-chain and necessitate the completion of specific actions on ShimmerEVM, which operates as a EVM Layer 2 on top of Shimmer.

The campaign spans four weeks, starting on January 31, 2024, at 8 PM CET, and concluding on February 29, 2024 at 8 PM CET. Throughout this duration, participants can engage in different sub-campaigns of DeepSea Adventures. Both on-chain and off-chain tasks contribute experience points (XP) to your account. Important to note you need to collect XP within each project board to climb the combined campaign leaderboard. Rewards will be allocated according to participation which may include raffles.

Please be aware that quests will be released gradually, and not all of them will be available right from the start. Therefore, it’s advisable to revisit the TIDE dashboard to ensure you don’t miss out on any new tasks.

Aiming for higher rewards?

Next to DeepSea Adventures, an additional campaign is currently running on ShimmerEVM, rewarding you with a share of up to $1 million of SMR tokens for bridging assets to ShimmerEVM and providing liquidity to ShimmerSea. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.
