Week Four

Not much happened this week, other than mapping fields on documents. Not sure if I explained this before, so I’ll explain it here. My department takes documents from companies, and makes this so they can be filled out online. That means each field on the document need to have an input field, so the user can enter data. For the company I’m doing, they have about eighty documents that need to have input field put on them. Also, something particular to this company all the field names have to be the same as the old document input field names, because we are upgrading them. My guess on how many fields I have mapped is somewhere around three to five thousand. I think this is the lengthiest process in getting a company ready to go live.
