A Loyal Friend and You Missed Out

A whisper’s sting, a murmured word,
A friendship lost, a trust unheard.
They chose the shadows, turned away,
On rumors built, they wouldn’t stay.

Their loss, I see, not mine to bear,
For truth and loyalty, a crown I wear.
Laughter shared, and secrets kept,
Through trials faced, a promise swept.

They missed the warmth, the hand to hold,
The stories whispered, brave and bold.
The shoulder strong in times of strife,
The loyal heart that lights your life.

So let them walk in whispers’ din,
My path is clear, my spirit kin.
For friendships forged in fire’s test,
Will stand the strongest, shine the best.
