10 reasons I have given myself a 30-day writing challenge

DAY 1 OF THE 30 DAY WRITING CHALLENGE

For the next 30 days, I will write every single day. Because writing is hard for me. I want to get comfortable with it. And also because..

1. I have something to say. And I don’t want to say it just as a passing statement to a friend in a coffee shop.

2. I will only be able to achieve this if I wake up early and include this in my morning routine. And so there’s more discipline in life.

3. It feels like a good workout. Hard to do, there is a lot of resistance, but the feeling afterwards makes it all worth it.

4. I listen and learn something new every day. When I write, its helps me internalise. Otherwise, I tend to forget.

5. My writing will develop a style along the way. I am curious to know what it’s going to be.

6. It will be fun to look back a year from now and see how my thoughts have evolved.

7. It’s good to create something every day in a way that no one else can, quite the same way as you.

8. Maybe just maybe, my thoughts will connect with someone. And connecting with others is beautiful!

9. Maybe then someday, I’ll write a book..who knows!

10. I am a Seth Godin fan and I think he will think this is a good idea.

This is Day #1 of the 30 day writing challenge.
