We are nearing the end of our Shark Tank journey with the final episode of Season 4 airing next week, but it’s not over ’til its over! This week we have some interesting pitches from the entrepreneurs. First up tonight we have Diana from Frontier Pets.
Diana is in the Tank tonight asking for 608k for a 23% stake of her pet food business, valuing her company at $2.643 million. Her pet food is raw freeze dried and contains ethically sourced ingredients. She deals directly with the farmers and has a huge vision to stop factory farming. In just over a year Diana now has 2200 active customers with a turnover of 60k a month. Can she get a Shark as her about dog food?
Gabrielle has created a business using medical grade silicone patches that hydrate the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Her products are stocked in some big U.S. retailers and she is here asking for 300k for 17% of her company valuing it at 1.73 million. With a background as a marketing consultant, Gabrielle has achieved some fantastic publicity in both Australia and the U.S. — will she get a Shark to take a bite?
Damian is here to pitch us his multi-purpose caravan and camping pegs that are drilled in or out of the ground using an impact driver. He is in the tank seeking 80k for 20% equity in his business and is looking for a Shark to help him penetrate international markets. Customers are finding his product primarily word of mouth, directly from caravan parks or camping grounds. In only a year he’s had great traction and sold 13,000 units… will a Shark jump on to Damian’s bandwagon?
Lorraine and Stacey are two Sydney Mums that have found a gap in the market — reef shoes for babies. They’re in the Tank asking for 70k for 20% of their business to help them expand into the U.S. and other countries. For a young business, they’re doing quite with their lovely designs and are currently stocked in 120 retailers worldwide — quite a feat. Will the duo be able to convince a Shark to make a deal?
