What is Consensus?
Since 2015, Consensus has served as a focal point for those devoted to decentralizing the world. Consensus, one of the biggest and the most important events in the industry, is the only event presenting and celebrating all sides of the blockchain. Topics covered during the conference include finance and investments, NFTs, DeFi, legislation, Web3 and the Metaverse - and their ramifications for commerce, culture and communities.
Thousands of people from all over the world get together at Consensus each year to take part in hard-hitting discussions, critical debates, and inspiring exchanges that continue to shape society’s future. Developers, artists, investors, policymakers, executives, and scholars from a wide range of initiatives are invited to attend the year’s most crucial event in 2022.
Crystals of Naramunz at Consensus 2022:
A number of household names in the crypto and blockchain were invited to speak, such as Sam Bankman-Fried (CEO at FTX), Changpeng Zhao (Founder & CEO at Binance), Marieke Flament (CEO at NEAR Foundation) among many others. We are thrilled that Åke André, CEO and Founder of Crypto Rogue Games (creators of Crystals of Naramunz) was invited to speak as a panelist at a NEAR Foundation’s discussion at Consensus.
Åke shared his ideas about the importance of compliance both at a company level in general, but also more specifically when it comes to ensuring trust and transparency is built into the game development process as well. The highest level of compliance has been one of the core principles at Naramunz since day one - we are setting the new standard for game development transparency in the Web 3.0 gaming industry.
NEAR Foundation:
Åke André had the pleasure of meeting Marieke Flament (CEO at NEAR Foundation) at Consensus. Our partnership with and support from NEAR is something we value extremely highly: Crystals of Naramunz have received a strategic development grant from Human Guild, a leading accelerator for blockchain projects built on NEAR protocol. The grant allows us to concentrate on developing the game’s next important GameFi components, which will be released in 2024 to become a flagship game on the NEAR protocol.

It’s all about recognizing and applauding successful partnerships. Collaboration with people who can help us get better at what we do and exchange knowledge and know-hows is an important part of our journey.
