Crystals of Naramunz Participated at DCENTRAL Austin 2022 Conference
Here at Crystals of Naramunz, we are not simply building the top multiplayer action RPG Web3 game - we also stay ahead of the industry developments and share our knowledge with the community. There is hardly a better way to do it than being present together with all of the big brains and the biggest fans of the crypto world. This is exactly why Åke André, CEO and Founder of Crypto Rogue Games (creators of Crystal of Naramunz), has attended two of the biggest crypto, blockchain, and Web3 tech events of the year: DCentral Austin and Consensus Festival Week.
What is DCentral?
DCentral Austin is THE kickoff event and conference happening just before Consensus Festival week starts. Dcentral kicked off the Consensus Week festivities with a 2-day event on June 7 - 8 2022, featuring a wide variety of speakers focused on all things Web3, from NFTs to Metaverses, GameFi to DAOs.
Why is it important?
DCentral Austin is the Web3 industry’s ultimate summer networking event, with a varied mix of exclusive NFT experiences, presenter booths, and in-depth investigations into some of the industry’s most pressing concerns and opportunities. The event serves as the perfect prelude to an exciting week dedicated to all things Web3 during Consensus Festival Week (9–12 June 2022).
Thousands of participants including NFT vendors, technology companies, blockchain developers, celebrities, influencers, investors, artists, and more converge in this two-day event. Among the many speakers for the DCentral Austin 2022, some of the top figures in Web3 were speaking at the conference, including Charles Hoskinson, Kevin Smith, and Baron Davis.
What did we do there?
Our two days at DCentral were jam-packed with cutting-edge updates about the industry, tons of networking opportunities, and endless exciting talks about Crystals of Naramunz. We met exceptional people and absolute legends of blockchain, crypto, NFT, and Web3 - those who have been behind it all since the early days and continue pushing forward to this day. Even more exciting, the unanimous feedback from everyone we presented Naramunz to was overwhelmingly positive. We have certainly expanded the list of fans waiting for our game development updates!
Our key takeaways
If we had to summarise our two days at DCentral, these would be are thoughts to take away:
- Despite the difficult global financial and economic situation, despite the bear crypto market, the future outlook is positive and the passion to build things in Web3 is as high as ever.
- The bear market is the perfect market to be building and developing new ideas, projects, and businesses. Those with strong projects will emerge as winners once the market flips.
- Crystals of Naramunz is on the right track. We have developed solid gameplay with crypto and NFT integration, and - even more importantly - we do follow our principles of putting the game first and focusing on compliance. A combination of these developments and principles is a key to long-term success - this has been emphasized by numerous entrepreneurs and developers in the industry.
As previously mentioned, we also attended the biggest Web3 event of the year - the Consensus Festival Week conference (June 9–12, 2022), where Åke André participated as a panel speaker and gave his view on what startup founders should take into account to stay compliant in the crypto gaming industry.
