Fountains make fantastic historical monuments. Fountains are purely functional, connected to springs. Until the late 19th century most fountains worked by gravity, and wanted a source of water higher than the fountain, such as a reservoir, to make the water flow into the air. It still inspires us with their beauty, Power and Music. Here are top nine of the most inspiring and largest fountains in the world.

Bellagio Fountain — Las Vegas

Bellagio Fountains are huge and are located on a manmade lake in front of the Bellagio hotel. The structure of the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas nearly cost about $40 million. These Fountains are choreographed with adding various pieces of music with present light and water show every 30 minutes. Before the water shows begins the nozzles break the water surface and the hotel of Bellagio changes its colour.

King Fahd’s Fountain- Jeddah

King Fahd’s Fountain is famous for being the highest fountain in the world. The height of the water throwing is up to 1023ft. than is taller than the Eiffel Tower excluding the antenna. The fountain delivers 625 litres of water which uses 3 massive pumps per second at the speed of 233 mph. If you are travelling to Jeddah than don’t forget to pay it a visit as its view is incredibly beautiful.
