Iteration is not design
Todd Olson

As an academic researcher studying evolution, who has also trained in design I probably have different take to a lot of the audience. The human scale of time is so drastically different than that of evolution, and if that was understood no one would undertake a design project in a Darwinian manner. Typical diversification mechanisms in biology take thousands of generations to even come close to generating new, obviously distinct functions. And that’s an understatement. Good article.
