Obama returns to trail as Trump goes after his legacy

Former President Obama is returning to the campaign trail despite President Trumps attacks on the former president’s policies. Obama is attending the rallies to encourage voters to vote for democratic candidates this fall. However, there is a close race against the republican and democratic candidate in Virginia.

Congresswoman faced backlash after interview of Harvey Weinstein sexual assualt. Eddie Bernice Johnson says women must be mindful of the clothes they wear and their attitude may appear “inviting”. However, Johnson also says men must be respectful too and be professional in every enviornment. Likewise, Johnson says her views are “old school” and should be viewed that way.

Trump offered a grieving military father $25,000 in a phone call

President Trump personally called a grieving military family back in the summer and mentioned he would give the family $25,000 and start a fundraiser as well. However, the father says that he still has yet to recieve a check from anyone in the White House. But, this is not the first time something like this has been done by a president. Former President Obama also called a family, and mentioned he would give them money but this promise was not fulfilled for almost a year and a half.
