Took my daughter to gymnastics class.
While class was in session, I sat on the bleachers and worked on my laptop, with my earbuds in.
Another class ended and this little white, blonde girl walks out and starts sobbing. I take out my earbuds and hear her saying, “I don’t see my nanny! I can’t find my nanny!”
Every other person on the bleachers (all white-presenting women) turn and glare at me, almost in unison. One of them says, rudely, “Can’t you see she’s looking for you?!”
Y’all. WTF?

I channel my inner Mariah and say, “I don’t know her,” put my earbuds back in, and go back to my laptop.
