Day 129 — Summer Holidays

With the holidays being in full effect now, my lessons have quietened right down. It’s given me an opportunity to get to know the kids that are still actually here, a lot better.

I’ve also been doing intense sessions at one of the pools. It’s where we teach the same kids from Monday to Friday at the same time. It’s great experience for the kids if they turn up to all of the sessions. It’s one month worth the lessons in one week.

Today, I came to the end of three straight weeks of intensive lessons. It’s been pretty hard on me. Making the journey to the same place everyday and seeing the same kids has been a pleasant experience and I’ve built some awesome relationships with my students which actually makes me a little sad that I won’t see them so regularly anymore.

It’s good that I get used to this now as I look for a change soon. I won’t see my pupils at all at one point.
