Day 139 — Country Air

Today we walked along the coast for what felt like hours. Although that could be due to all the amounts of food we had ate over the last couple of days. I’ve been stuffing my face like there’s no tomorrow. Isn’t that what holidays are for anyway? The steps to climb are brutal to begin with but pay you back with breathtaking views once you’re at their peak.

The nicest thing was the the fresh, country air in this place. Since we landed I’ve been taking it in. London’s smog will always be thick and damaging for me, so I’m holding onto the moments that my lungs get a break from it.

There were moments today while we were walking that I just happy to be here. Away from everything while the sun was shining and the wind was blowing freely around me, freeing up space in my head.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
