Once I ask myself how I want my life to be? The answer that came from within was “Life without problems”. We all would love to have such a life, Don’t we? But our destiny has some different plan for us. I came across this beautiful quote by Gaur Gopal Das“We don’t go through problems but we grow through problems”. Facing problems are the testing times in our life which molds and makes us a better person.

Country style cooking

Remember the first time we cooked for our family. Do you remember? Well for me it was a dreadful experience. Now I can proudly say that I love cooking because online recipes have made cooking easy which not only changed the way I cook but taught me the sutras for solving problems.

I learned it when I cooked Bhakries (Indian bread). I had tried cooking bhakri only once with my mother’s help which was three years back and then never tried it, nor I am good at making roti (Indian bread), I still make maps.
Now you may find it silly that how can this bhakri incident solve our problem, well you only need to concentrate on the four sutras which I discovered.

Bhakries

Below are the sutras:
Understand the nature of the problem (Define the problem): I had the dough to work on, However, the bhakri didn’t turn the way it should be, which proved that there may be a problem in the process of making bhakri or in the dough.

Withdraw yourself from the problem and be ready for research (Prepare to investigate): After many failed attempts, I withdrew myself from the kitchen environment, took a sip of juice to chill and then resume to find the solution.

Various method to solve the problem (Run Investigation and Analysis): In my online research, I came across three methods which were roti maker machine, rolling pin and using the bare hand. Furthermore, I realized that the dough was too soft to be rolled with the rolling pin or even shaping with bare hands.

Flour

Work on the problem using the finding of the research (Action): I made the dough hard by adding flour and tried to roll again. What worked for me was the combination of two methods that was using a rolling pin and bare hand. This worked for me so well that I had perfect round shape bhakries.

This simple incident taught me the best sutras to solve the problem. If this works for me, then why not you. Try it, this works! Have you come up with any ways to resolve problems? I would love to know it, please share your comments.
