Neo Teams — Your Racing Family
Trophies, prizes, fame, legacy…all of these are the rewards of Champions but no one becomes a Champion on their own. You need an excellent team.
When you join Neo you’re not only becoming part of the incredible Neo Community but you’ll be joining a smaller group of people who will be with you throughout the journey — This is your Neo Team!
Each Neo Team is made up of 66 NFTs, every person who holds one of these NFTs has access to and is part of the team. That means when you get your hands on a Neo NFT you will be meeting (up to) 65 new teammates.
Currently there are 10 Neo Teams available. Team 1, Team 2, Team 3 etc.
What does a Neo Team do?
The main goal of every racing team is to be crowned Champions. Every month your Neo team will compete in the Neo Championship hoping to win it all. There will be races, challenges and even some media questions to answer. As a team you’ll be able to work together to produce the best performance possible. However, being part of a team isn’t all about competing and winning races. Each team is able to develop its own “Identity”
A Team Identity is what makes your team unique. As a team you will get to:
- Select your Team colours
- Design a Team Logo
- Design a Team Mascot
And if you’re making serious noise in the Neo Community you might be able to negotiate some Sponsors
Organising a Neo Team
All teams need to have some way of organising their members and luckily for you, your Neo Team is already organised by role. There are 4 roles available in each Neo Team, these vary in rarity and are linked directly to your Neo NFT:
Race Director — 1 Per Team
Crew Chief — 5 Per Team
Pit Crew — 10 Per Team
Team Member — 50 Per Team
Usually during the Championship, the Race Director will have the most responsibility but these roles are fairly flexible. If you’re a Team Member who wants to have a big part on Race Day or a Race Director who just can’t make it one week, don’t worry your team will be there to support you
