Greetings Earthlings! We would like to thank you all for joining us with exciting times ahead by landing on Neptune! We are at full speed ahead and preparing all relevant information over the coming days and weeks so let’s dive in!

In Neptune, players can collect and arm ‘Nepers’, the mysterious little creatures that are birthed in Neptune, and embark on adventures and battles through combat and summoning. Summoning is the ability to create Nepers with collected in-game crystals. Nepers are pet sprites with combat properties. Each Neper is born with its own skills, and can learn other skills later during gameplay.

There are 2 ways to claim a NEPER:

1. Purchase(Not related to the sold xNEP, xNEP is a credential for airdrop and participation in project governance);

2. Neper eggs or shards are randomly obtained from PVE chests. Eggs are used to summon Neper, and shards can be synthesized into eggs.

All Nepers are categorized into 4 elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. Each Neper in these categories will be assigned to one of four grades: N, R, SR, and SSR. The grade affects a Neper’s attribute, growth and skill mastery. Included in the images below are some of the Nepers of each element.

The rules are:

1. N -> R -> SR -> SSR is the ranking order from lowest to highest

2. Earth dominates water, water dominates fire, fire dominates wind, wind dominates earth.

3. Every time a Neper defeats another Neper, the winning Neper’s attack power is increased by 20%.

You can strengthen your Neper through the following process:

First, you must have 2 Nepers in your possession and 100 Tune Tokens (game token).

Of the two Nepers in your possession, you will be required to specify a main Neper and a secondary Neper, and 100 Tune.

After strengthening the main Neper it’s attributes are enhanced, the secondary Neper gets consumed (which means the main Neper has eaten the auxiliary Neper) and your 100 Tune tokens will also be spent.

The rules discussed above follow that:

N card can only eat N card;

R card can eat N, R card;

SR cards can eat N, R, SR cards;

SSR card can eat N, R, SR, SSR cards;

So on that note, we are going to pause here so our community has time to absorb what we shared and ask us questions before we release the second part of our Medium article for the ‘Neper and Gameplay Introduction’ later this week! Hope you all are as excited as we are!
