The NEP token is the governance token of the decentralized GameFi platform, Neptune (NEP for short), with a total circulation of 10 million.
NEP Token Explained
NEP token use is shown in the graph below, and more of its uses will be introduced as the game launches. Its main purpose is to give players the right to receive NEP tokens and to become owners of the Neptune platform. Players with higher contributions are eligible to receive more NEP tokens. At the same time, the platform cooperates with Netswap, which adds a DeFi function for all to participate in.
NEP Token Holder Entitlements
1. NEP tokens are the identity and equity proof of the Neptune platform. Holders enjoy platform voting governance rights.
2. NEP holders receive the development benefits of the Neptune platform. In the future, the Neptune platform will become a gaming and NFT platform, aiming to build an ecosystem dedicated to blockchain games. In the future, the Neptune platform will continue to launch new games. Income generated by gaming NFT transactions will be distributed to NEP holders.
3. NEP holders are entitled to the internal testing of newly launched games on the Neptune platform and are given priority to experiencing new game content.
4. NEP holders are entitled to NFT airdrop or IDO qualifications for newly launched games on the Neptune platform.
5. In the future, game developers who launch on the Neptune platform will add in-game tokens to NEP’s staking pool, which can only be obtained by NEP’s staking users.
6. Neptune will open the NEP/METIS LP trading pair in Netswap. Users who participate in the LP pledge can get dual-coin mining rewards of NET and NEP.
7. Neptune will participate in more projects in the Metis ecosystem, and NEP token holders will enjoy the benefits of all future collaborations.

NEP Total Supply: 10,000,000
- 1 million airdropped to Genesis NET card holders, with a total of 10,000 Genesis NFT cards
- Investors and Metis Foundation hold 500,000 tokens (linear vesting over 5 years)
- 400,000 tokens as rewards for NEP DeFi market
- 8.1 million tokens for ecological game rewards
There are currently three ways to obtain NEP:
- Buy the Genesis NFT; each NFT will be airdropped 100 NEP.
- Join the NEP game ecosystem. After being approved by Neptune’s DAO, you can earn NEP rewards.
