#Knitting from the Heart

A scarf for my mother

Many years ago (before my mom’s cancer diagnosis), I knitted a simple scarf for my Hubby. Mom saw me knitting and she commented how sweet it was for me to knit him a scarf.

I was going to knit her a scarf too, but life happens. Work. Child-care. Next thing you know, years zoom by.

Now mom is dealing with horrible cancer and time may be running out. So I’m knitting her a scarf right now. I hate to admit it, but it’s more for me than for her. She already has lots of store-bought scarves and hats and mittens. But I want to be able to give her a hand-made scarf before it’s too late.

Do you know what this is like?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
