15 Self-Reminders of Neris Nainggolan

Sometimes to remind people is much easier rather than remind ourselves, isn’t it?
I am one of the real examples of someone who likes to keep reminding others about good things but I even like break my own reminders over and over, that’s people.
But, on the other side, I always believe that every day is always a good start to be a better person as long as you want to.
Here are some self-reminders of my own that I’ve done in my daily life and I’mma try and learn (again) to apply them:
- Don’t ever trust anyone with all your heart and your mind — I’m serious.
- Don’t think that you belong to somebody and somebody belongs to you entirely.
- Don’t try to change others, be consistent to keep showing them good example.
- Don’t expect the best from anyone, expect the best only from God and yourself.
- Don’t be so hard on yourself, don’t be too serious, be more cheerful, be you, and flexible but not lost.
- Don’t find happiness and peacefulness from others, it starts from you, within you.
- Don’t compare yourself with others pessimistically, love yourself, every body has their own way and time, relax.
- Don’t do kindness for seeking praise or attention, you do it because you know that kindness makes you happy, that’s it.
- Don’t over-use cell phone and social media. Take a break and detox from social media is one of great ways to keep your mental healthy.
- Don’t talk too much, learn to listen, listen to understand, and act more.
- Don’t be too close with negative people, take care of your inner soul.
- Don’t over-analyze and over-think, you’re not that cool.
- Don’t ask for help too often, learn to help more.
- Don’t accept people’s words quickly, try to filter.
- Don’t bother people’s life. Mind your own life.
