We recently added a new feature to our Nervape wallet which let’s you try on all available Gear! We’ll show you how to use this exciting feature in this short tutorial.
To follow along, you’ll need to be a Nervape holder and have Nervape Gear. Nervapes are available on Dobby Market and Nervape Gear is on Omiga and JoyID Market.
Step 1: Connect Your BTC Wallet On Our Website
If you know this step already, skip to step 2.
On https://www.nervape.com click on the CONNECT button on the upper right of the website. Connect the BTC wallet you use to hold your Nervape (JoyID / OKX / UniSat wallet). Then Click on the wallet button again and in the dropdown menu, select “My Nervape Assets.” You’re now inside the Nervape website wallet!
Step 2: Dress Up Interface
Inside your wallet, click on the Nervape you want to dress up located under NERVAPE, then click the DRESSUP button.
You’ll be taken to the default view under the ALL tab which will show you all the Nervape Gear you have that is available to equip. For the Nervape above, he has four Gear items that he received in the June 2024 Round 1 and Round 2 Gear Drops.
Click on the HEAD tab (see above right image). It will now zoom closer to your ape and show Head Gear to the right, or the bottom of your screen if you’re on your phone.
NERVAPE NOTE: If you’re on your phone or a browser window, the Gear may not appear. You will have to click on the category buttons (icons of the hat, mask, etc…below the image of your Nervape) for them to appear.
All the Gear that is not available to equip is grayed out. For this Nervape, he does not have any Head Gear so all the Gear in this category is grayed out.
Step 3: Try On Other Gear!
Even though Gear is grayed out, you can now click on an item and get to see how it looks on your Nervape! Above, I’m trying on an Umbrella Hat Rainbow and since I don’t own it, it displays the “One or more selected gears are unavailable” notification.
Try out different Gear in each category! Above left this ape is trying on some brown sunglasses. Above right, under the BODY tab, I clicked RANDOM (the orange button of two intertwining arrows) and it randomized all the Gear under the BODY tab. Try this out for the HEAD and OTHERS tabs and see what you get!
You can always CLEAR (paintbrush icon) or UNDO (back arrow icon) if you’re not happy with the results.
On the upper right of the screen if you click “Save,” it will show a pop up listing all the unavailable Gear that was selected for your Nervape (above right image).
To the right of each item is a link to that item’s Gear category on Omiga and JoyID Market (Headwear, Accessory, etc…). You can click to see if that item is available for sale.
If you click PROCEED TO SAVE on the bottom of the screen, it will ask for your wallet signature and then save the image of your Nervape with any Gear you equipped that is available.
NERVAPE NOTE: Any Gear that appears in the unavailable list, will NOT show up on the Nervape after you save it.
You can also click BACK TO EDIT to go back to editing your Nervape’s look.
If you click the DOWNLOAD icon next to Save, it will also show you the list of unavailable Gear, but it will not allow you to download the image. You can only save an image of your Nervape wearing the Gear you have available.
If you click the EXIT icon (the X button) it will ask you if you want to leave without saving if you haven’t saved yet. If you leave without saving, all changes made since the last save will be discarded.
There you have it! Give this new feature a try and try on other Gear that you’ve had your eye on!
