This is actually a very fantastic idea, and it’s a wonder why your hypothetical platform isn’t in existence yet (surely there are many able people in the ISU which means that it ultimately boils down to funding?).

I believe that the platform will not only promote transparency, but also provide help to up-and-coming athletes. I am no athlete, but I am no stranger to the struggles that athletes in my country which is located in the tropics undergo (even more so in sports such as Figure Skating). The platform will provide not only relevant information, but it can trigger independence and self-learning for athletes who might lack support in more ways than one (e.g. government support, coaches etc.). Furthermore, as you’ve said, it would be easier for ice dancers/skaters without partners to find a good match for them.
