100 Homes Funded in 91 Days!
On June 1st, we set an ambitious goal to fund 100 Homes in 100 Days. We’re proud to announce that in 91 days, the mission has been accomplished!
Far-Reaching Implications
These 100 families were living in a tent slum for 5.5 years because of the 2010 earthquake. Their lives were constantly in danger (abduction, severe weather, sanitation borne diseases). Their potential and opportunity for education, income were held captive by the tent slum.
But that story is now changing.
A new story in safe homes means (1) their lives are saved from life-threatening dangers, and (2) they now have a foundation for access to education, drastically improved health, and income/entrepreneurial opportunities.
- 500+ lives saved, life trajectories changed
- New Story homes are built to last, so the ripple effects will impact generations to come
- $600,000 was raised ($6k/home). 100 % of that goes to home construction, and all homes are built by local workers

Ringing The Bell On Day 100
To celebrate, we were invited to ring the Opening Bell of the NASDAQ on September 8th, which is day 100 of the campaign!
