The 54th Deadline: Monotony
Monotony is a dangerous thing to fall victim to when you’re trying to get ahead. I find myself caught in various ruts, especially in the past year. Always on the verge of feeling like I am about to advance to the next stage, something comes up out of the blue. I then falter and miss my chance.
So what happens? I wait. And I spend more time waiting a bit further. It is like a never-ending cycle. Everything feels like it comes full circle. All in all, it just makes me want to jump off of this rat wheel and do something different in my life.
No, this is not entirely correct. I MUST do something else. To break this monotony, I have to take my shot at doing something out of character for me, if only for the sake of variety.
In a nutshell, I am weary of my daily routine. I hate how it is so unexciting at times. I need to take charge.
