Maybe you have heard about blockchain, NFT, and other tech words many times, maybe your favorite idol released an NFT collection you are interested in, maybe you heard that someone became a millionaire in the NFT market. However, for whatever reason, learning about a new thing always adds new opportunities to your life.
First of all, in the world of web 3, everyone needs a crypto wallet to store their cryptocurrency, identity, credentials, collectibles, etc. Not only does it showcase the blockchain assets you own, but it also allows you to freely trade on the blockchain and is a tool you add to your browser to interact with the blockchain. Because Nicho NFT is a decentralized application that is deployed on the blockchain through EVM and smart contracts, it does not own your assets. And we just provide a point-to-point trading system between users. Since you will be using Nicho NFTs to trade directly with others on the blockchain, so you need a wallet to help you turn complex code transactions into a few buttons.
Getting Gas for Your Trading
After you set up Metamask and connect to NichoNFT, you need some gas fee to make your first transaction/minting. (Click for setup guide)
You need to know which cryptocurrency is used as gas for your mainnet. For example, Ethereum uses ETH as gas, and BNB Smart Chain uses BNB as gas, etc.
You have to use gas to pay for some of the interaction with the blockchain and make the payment for the items you buy.
Here are two easy ways to fund gas to your wallet:
- Buy Directly within MetaMask
Depending on your region, you may be able to buy crypto directly with a credit or debit card via a third-party provider. Please note, buying crypto with a credit card may incur additional fees, depending on which third-party provider you use. And you may not receive the entire crypto amount immediately.
2. Withdraw Funding From Centralized Exchange
It’s also easy to fund your wallet by depositing from a reputable crypto exchange, like FTX, Coinbase, or Binance, which offers a way to buy crypto with your bank account.
1, Open the MetaMask wallet extension or the mobile app.
2, Copy your wallet address by clicking the Account 1 button with a clipboard icon.
3, Paste your wallet address as a ‘recipient address’ when withdrawing from your crypto exchange.

4, It may take some time for the crypto to appear in your wallet. After processing your withdrawal, your crypto exchange should provide a number called a Transaction Hash or Transaction ID. This is a unique number for each transaction on the blockchain. You can use this unique number to check the progress of your withdrawal on third-party tools like Etherscan or Bscscan.
5, When your crypto wallet shows that you have cryptocurrency, then you can start your NFT journey on Nicho NFT right away!

When you first enter the world of Nicho NFT, what should you do?
I think, editing your profile first would be a great choice!
When you click on your avatar in the top right corner of the landing page, a drop-down menu will pop up, then you can click “Edit profile”.
Then, we can try to create a collection for your mined NFTs!
When you finish creating, you can see the NFT collection you just created in the “My Collection”. However, there is no NFT in this collection yet, so now we need to create some NFTs for it.
Next, let’s mint your first NFT!
Click the “Create NFT”, we can upload a multi-format artwork and mint it as an NFT. Those files included PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, MP3, etc.
Here, you can name your NFT, add a description, set the price, etc., and choose the collection you want to store with.
When you finish your edit, click the “Confirm” button, and after submitting the blockchain, your first NFT will be minted successfully! (Nicho NFT will not charge any minting fees, all minting fees are charged by the miannet that provides blockchain services.)
At this point, congratulations! You have successfully minted your first NFT! Now! You can find your own NFT in “My collection” or “My NFTs”.
If you are not satisfied with the current price, you can update your price at any time, and if you want to stop selling your NFT, you can also unlist it.
We consider all artworks minted in Nicho NFT as registered items, but if you have NFTs minted on other marketplaces/smart contracts in your wallet, you are welcome to sell them in Nicho NFT, just click Register NFT. Because here, all tradings are rewarded!
