When users start creating NFTs on Nicho, we ask all users MUST have their collections before creating NFT. Usually, the NFT collection is a variety of digital assets published by an artist (or community) that contain a limited number of individual NFTS. So, most NFTS collections consist of numerous NFTS that all conform to the same art style, with each individual token slightly different. Of course, more than just collectibles and art, NFT collections come in many different forms, such as virtual real estate (Decentraland and The Sandbox), music albums, and even sports trading cards (NBA Top Shot and Sorare). (James, 2022) That’s why NFT creators need a collection before they launch their NFTs.
Through Nicho’s collection creation interface, we provided an automated ERC721 standard NFT collection creation system to all users. In this system, users can create an independent NFT contract for each collection, as much as they want.
Guide:
1.Click the Create Collection button under your avatar in the right top corner.
2. Fill in all the blanks about your collection (Name, Banners, Category, etc)
3. The most important part here is the Royalties Fee. The royalties in Nicho are different from others, the creator royalties in Nicho turn the traditional fee model on its head by being written into the smart contract at creation and automatically sending the royalty to the contract owner’s address every time a transaction occurs in the series. With this new model, we can guarantee the rights of creators and we will provide users with a low-fee service.
4. If the creator sets 5.5% as their royalties, then every transaction of this collection will be charged 5.5% and directly sent to the creator’s wallet address.
5. Then click “Create” to deploy the contract for your lovely collection. And, it would which will cost a little deployment and gas fee plus a gas fee when you deploy. Click Confirm on the notification of MetaMask.
6. When you finished the deployment, you are able to see your NFT contract on the blockchain explorer, with the same name as your collection.
7. And you can click Contract to check the ownership of your NFT contract, it should be the same address as your Nicho login address.
8. NOW! Use the Batch mint function or normal mint function to create unlimited NFTs for your collection !!!!
Batch mint guide: https://medium.com/@NichoNFT/how-to-use-batch-mint-to-create-lots-of-nfts-in-nicho-nft-b48208c0a923
9. To check your royalties, you can click the Blockchain Explorer on the NFT page, which will also bring you to the BSCscan where you can check the hash there.
10. In this case, a buyer bought an NFT we just created from this collection, and this buyer successfully sold the NFT to someone else with 0.02 BNB, then the smart contract will automatically send 5.5% (0.011 BNB) to the collection creator and 94.5% (0.189 BNB) of the amount when this block is successful.
So, here is how the Own Collection part works on Nicho, and hope it helps you to sell your digital artwork here.
*Royalties would not automatically send if list your own collection’s NFT on other platforms*
