One movie in particular that really changed my expression and became a turning point for me was “Silent Light” by Mexican director Carlos Reygadas. I really loved the aesthetics of this film, so much so that it actually changed my photography.
When the passion (or passions) have been identified, the documentation of that passion can begin and a passion for that documentation soon develops and evolves into a passion for photography. Without the first, the last is unachievable.
