Those who closely followed the lead up to the PlayStation 5’s release, know that PlayStation 4’s Spider-Man was used multiple times as a sort of tech demo to demonstrate the blazing loading speeds of the new hardware. People were so impressed, Insomniac decided to create a stand-alone expansion based on their 2018 release. Enter Miles Morales…

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales shouldn’t be considered an entirely new Spider-Man instalment. The game is set in the exact same New York map as the original (although it is a “winter” version), the gameplay is 90% the same and the structure of the game, including menus, skill tree, et cetera are completely borrowed from the original. At the same time, Miles Morales is and feels more than just DLC, as it comes with a new protagonist (Miles Morales), new types of enemies, a few new combat moves, a completely new story and a nice bunch of side-content, totalling to about 8 to 10 hours of gameplay. …

Everyone’s favorite wombat is back for some crazy platforming action in Crash Bandicoot 4.

Who would’ve thought three years ago that a new Crash Bandicoot would finally make its way to modern platforms. Yet, here we are. After a genius remake bundle of the first three Crash games in the N.Sane Trilogy (released back in 2017), both new and old players fell (back) in love with the ‘coot. Activision took notice and swiftly started production of Crash Bandicoot 4, released 22 (!) years after its predecessor. It’s about time indeed…

First of all, Crash Bandicoot 4 is still very much Crash Bandicoot. The creators stayed true to the nature of what the game made so popular back in the 90’s while also trying to lift up the game aesthetics and mechanics to the current level of videogames. It works. Crash Bandicoot 4 is a platform game pur sang, which unfortunately, don’t pop up very often anymore. While newer players will definitely get to get accustomed to the (near) fixed camera, it is ultimately what Crash Bandicoot is supposed to feel like. …

Delta is expanding. Relaunching you might say. And to keep you informed about the changes, we’re introducing a weekly development update to keep those interested into the loop about what’s new about the app and how the beta is going along. Here’s the third one. If you missed the first one, you can read it here. The second one can be found here. Number 3 is here.

Closed Beta Invitations

We decided to not expand our beta this week, as we want to fix some major bugs before we do so. The plan is to get to this place in exactly one week from now. To compensate, we’ll add a bigger batch, our beta with 750 extra seats.

Pressure is building in the crypto market, with Bitcoin lingering below $12K as positive network metrics point towards further upside.

Along with Bitcoin, large-cap altcoins including Ethereum and XRP have finished the week in much the same place they started. This stagnation could be attributed to a rebound in the dollar, which found support last week and began to recover from its recent downturn.

Fed May Have Hinted at Major Policy Change

  • Minutes from July’s Fed meeting were published on Thursday, discussing the economic situation in the US and current interest rates.
  • However, the most interesting takeaway may be that the Fed implied that it may change one of its most significant policies. One of the Fed’s main goals is to keep inflation at no more than 2% a year. And yet, rumours say that it may be changed to an average of 2% a year.
  • This means that if this year’s inflation rate will be lower than 2%, the Fed will allow higher inflation next year. …

Experience the exciting thrills of the FIA Formula One World Championship in F1 2020.

Considering the current pandemic that’s going on, many of the big sport disciplines out there have lost its charm. No crowds, no ambience, fewer emotions. One sport that doesn’t seem to be hurt too much by this, is the FIA Formula One. The roaring engines make the crowds a forgotten and silent element anyway and the circus surrounding Formula 1 is alive as ever.

Which brings me to F1 2020, the video game. A game that can stay true to its real-life counterpart in almost any aspect. Ever since F1 2017, Codemasters has made great strides towards making the Formula 1 games as realistic as possible. With yearly development cycle intervals, the progression the game has made has been fairly minimal. It’s this year however, that the changes feel more substantial. …
