DRM in HTML: what EME has and has not done for us
Sander Saares

DRM integrators are showing the interop way with the Content Protection Information Exchange Format (CPIX) guidelines, which allow standardized key exchanges between DRM backend services. This work has been done under the DASH-IF umbrella : http://dashif.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/DASH-IF-CPIX-v2-0.pdf

Let’s hope that W3C will be successful in triggering an equivalent standardization on the client side!
