No matter what kind of work you do, there is an art to it. And there are people who will be interested in that work.

You just have to present it in the right way.

But what if you’ve just started and have nothing to share yet?

Start documenting your work, how you do it, etc in a work journal. This could be a notebook, a google doc, a recorded audio file, or even a scrapbook.

Take pictures of your work or record videos of you doing the work. It doesn’t have to be perfect. This is just to keep track of what you’re doing and how you are doing it.

You can also keep notes on what you are thinking, feeling, and things that inspire you. Such as quotes, music playlists, podcasts, and books. You can also share tips, tricks, and advice on routines, how to do the work, etc.

You don’t have to share any of it until you’re ready, but when you are you’ll have lots of notes and ideas to share. Meaning a backlog of content ready to be pieced together and shared.

By doing all of this you’ll not only see the progress you’re making but you’ll be able to see how your process works. You can share these insights too when you’re ready.

If you enjoyed this post or it helped you in any way, please leave a clap and a comment! This really helps me out. Thank you so much for reading and supporting me here on Medium!
