“Thank you Professor Lessig for your leadership in supporting the electors, and for helping to translate the framers’ intent into the context of our modern era.”

You do not translate the constitution, The statements that Lessig makes go well beyond any articles or elements contained in the 12th amendment, and even accepting Hamilton statement to The Federalist as a legitimate reference to the intent of the amendment, Lessig glosses over the other statement by Hamilton regarding the tyrannical majority and the threat that following this route brings to the republics democratic process. Further it is not hateful to disagree with someone nor is it bigoted or racist. The majority of so called hate I see seems to stem from the left lately. I am a registered independent, but thanks to Lessig and those like him I find myself aligning more fright than center these days. Maybe you should practice some of the tolerance you so often preach.
