We should break the contract with Aramark and dramatically reduce the cost of food on campus by encouraging true competition among on-campus dining options and convenience stores. The price markup on food from POD is so high that it amazes me that I could afford anything from there last year. Especially if competing businesses are student-run or student-staffed. Certainly not feasible this coming year, but a major concern for overall college affordability that is often overlooked.
