Sciatica, a condition characterized by pain radiating along the path of the sciatic nerve, can be debilitating and immensely discomforting.

It often stems from compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve, typically caused by a herniated disc, spinal stenosis, or other spinal abnormalities.

While medication and surgery are commonly considered treatments, many individuals seek alternative approaches to manage their symptoms.

Among these alternatives, physiotherapy stands out as a promising avenue for relief. Albeit, it’s not very well nkown but its finiding its way into the world.

Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy in some countries, is a healthcare profession focused on enhancing and restoring mobility, function, and quality of life through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities.

And that’s the most summarised version I could come up with. I’m currently in my final year of my physiotherapy degree and still feel like i wear many hats at any one time.
