Talent + Persistence = ❓

On the Right Track❗️

It’s easy to seek fame, fortune, and glory without actually doing what it takes to acquire respect in one’s chosen trade.

Luck? Really?

You see, the thing is that luck is like ephemeral fever. It doesn’t carry over to the next generation with the same quick effect first experienced by the lucky individual who over-credited the good fortune to his/her raw intelligence.

Thus to be gifted at something requires putting in the extra hours of practice to perfect what seems to be someone’s passion — bottom line, end of the story.

Because — big because — shortcuts take much longer and are full of perplexing surprises, and that’s a full stop there, literally.

Where’s the Value?

The first and most invaluable characteristic of the one who’s gifted/talented/truly intelligent is to listen to those who have been around those “blocks” a few times.

They are the ones with the blueprints for us to follow with, of course, the modifications we think that we need to make in order to achieve our own goals.

For Us to Keep in Mind

  • Let’s be glad when someone takes a bit of time to give us a few pointers in what seems to interest us.
  • We — for sure — cannot forget to be equally thankful when we receive constructive criticism.
  • Only those with some fire in the balls get enough attention from a pro.

Final Thought

Let’s be generous with our gratitude toward those who have — somehow — encouraged our talent/s and persistence for us to stay on the right track.

Much love & grace — always!
