I used to use Awesome Screenshot, until I discovered Nimbus Screenshot & Screencast . Nimbus offers greater variety of features, actually works on some features where Awesome Screenshot doesn’t (especially taking full page snapshots), and is updated more frequently/regularly.

In addition to a slew of social media helpers, I also find Smartview for YouTube to come in quite handy, as well as the Google Voice extension for Chrome.
