If it was a pure “Win Now” move, it wouldn’t have been burdened with Nicholson’s contract. The primary purpose was to ensure cap space for Ottomatic. Its not clear whether Boggy D’s RFA total will fit with the Wizards cap space next year, but “win now” probably isn’t the best descriptor.
