This is good advice. I used to be diabetic, and no longer am.

In addition to lots of the advice above like eliminating processed foods, just something I do — I literally binge on cinnamon. I have both Cassia and Ceylon cinnamon (grinding the ceylon). I have it in my coffee, lots of tea, yogurt, hot chocolate, etc. Its absolutely terrific for reducing blood sugar.
