If Google is really losing money here, they will make up for it by monetizing/selling the massive amounts of private data they collect on users that use their products such as Google Chrome, Android, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, etc etc etc. Who will they sell to? They will sell it to their ad customers, after all if the banner ads arent working for them, they’ll want to get demographic info somehow.

Google has so much of our private data, they can hold the whole world ransom. And therefore I don’t think Google will disappear. People made the mistake to trust Google with all their private data. Here is a Google with data on every step you took in the world thanks to your use of Google maps —
