Quantified City Ranking Recommeded by Bloggers for Digital Nomads

(First of all, Sorry for my low english level. hope to be generous some broken english in this article ^^;)

I am not a Digital Nomad.

I cannot write a code, am not a designer, don’t have any website can make a profit.

But I’d like to travel with some productive or valuable work. not just using money like a millionaire.

And Digital Nomad’s life looked suitable to my idea. So I decided to start a travel following their life and reporting information about that.

First decision that I should make was “Where to go?”

There was plenty of recommended digital nomad city on web. I could know Chiang Mai, Bali, Berlin are popular to Nomads, but I thought “Isn’t there any quantified data about Nomad’s city?”

On second thought, It looks not much difficult to make that data. “Ok, Let’s make it by myself.”

Here is how to do.

1. I used the keyword, “digital nomad best city” on Google and scraped lists on blog posts, column, news.
2. I scraped lists that number of cities is up to 10.(there was 40 cities list. but I regarded this is too bigger data than other lists.)
3. Sum of recommended cities was 158.
4. I scraped 22 lists up to 5 page of Google search
5. Some posts have keyword like ‘Asia’, ‘Europe’, ‘Tropical Paradise’, ‘Winter’, ‘Cheap’. But I regarded all data was equal.

After making raw data like this…

Made a Ranking of Best Cities for Digital Nomads.

Hope this small data source can help some Digital Nomads who are finding destination.
