Interview

I interviewed Mariam Saeed Al Rumaithi, a student in Zayed University and a classmate in COM 210 Media Storytelling. We sat and had an interview to complete my interview assignment and discussed mostly about herself and her interests.

Tell me about yourself.

My name is Mariam Saeed, I’m 23 years old, I’m a student in Zayed University majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication College.

Why did you choose your major?

As i answered in the previous question, I am majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication and I chose my this major because i like to interact with a lot of people and as my major requires, I have to present the company in a good way so I would like to do that to look at the positive of anything and any perspective in life

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself in five years graduating university in a good degree, working a good company and having a good position that allows me to elevate myself for the better and raising my child to be good in his school and studies.

If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?

I don’t know but maybe i would be a horse because i always imagine that the horse is running by the seashore and it is nice.

If you to had to give up on one sense, which sense would it be?

It would be nothing, I cant choose because our senses makes us who we are and its because we are eating the good things, listening to music and that makes us calm and looking at the beautiful scenes. Our senses are very important to us and I would never sacrifice anyone.

How do you handle working with people who annoy you?

I just ignore them because people who annoy me will affect me if I gave them my attention so I ignore them by just stop interacting or communicating if I can, but if I can’t ignore if they were my work colleague I will only be shallow with them and wont be deep and stop anything that annoy me.

What are you most proud of?

I’m proud mostly of son because he is turning 1 year soon and starting to make his first step.

List 5 words that describe your character?

I would describe myself as a Loving, honest, positive, self development, and a caring person.

What is your interest?

I like writing and relaxing, maybe relaxing would not be an interest or a hobby but for me it is like, I love to have the time for myself to relax and reconnect with myself during the day because a lot of things got happened. I also love to cook because it is my favorite hobby, I like food and enjoy cooking everything like trying new cuisines such as Indian, American, Italian , and French. I like to cook new dishes and know the history behind it.

If had you the power to change only one thing in the world, what would it be?

I would change peoples mind because they think in a negative way that they are creating wars and showing the Earth as a bad place to live in as for the global warming is happening and also they see the atmosphere around them is going bad. So I would let them to live the moment and be happy without thinking worst and about who they want to kill or what land they want to take or occupy.
