With halloween just around the corner and half term coming up - how do you plan to keep the kids entertained??

Here are some events we’ve discovered that will be happening around Northampton!

Castle Ashby

Pumpkin Hunt - 21st to 28th October at various times. Find the hidden pumpkins by following the trail around the gardens after finding a face of the pumpkin on the activity sheet that will be provided. Win a prize once you find all the pumpkins.

Weston Favell Club

Halloween Spectacular - 26th to 28th October from 11am -3pm. Many activities to get involved in and a hauntingly good party. Special appearance from Disney’s Art Attacks Lloyd Warbey!!

Free events but donations to the charity Thomas’s Fund would be appreciated. Go visit the website to register for the events:


Potz Ceramic Studio

Children’s Halloween Party - Friday 27th October 5pm to 7pm.

Each child gets to paint and take home in time for halloween a pottery item and there is a prize for best halloween dressed. Tickets are £18.00 and booking is essential. Click on the link for further information:


Far Cotton REC Centre

Halloween Disco — Friday 27th October from 2pm till 4pm. It’s a chance for the little ones to join in the Monster bash in spooky outfits! Organised by the Friends of Far Cotton Library. There will be party games, refreshments and more! Tickets are £1 for Adults, £2.50 Children and free for under 2's.

Abington Park Museum

Haunted Halloween - on Saturday 28th October with fun craft activities and a haunted trail around the museum. Oh an there will be a refreshment stall with Witches Brew and you have the opportunity to come dressed in your scary costumes!

No booking is required and its only £1 per child. Just pop down between 11am and 4pm.

St James Community Centre

Halloween Party - Saturday 28th October from 3pm to 5pm. Dress in spooky best and get involved in the games and competition. Kids will also receive a goodie bag.

£3 entry and tickets can be purchased from St James Library.
