Revamped Safdarjung Railway Station: A Railway Station with world-class facilities

The revamped look of the railway station to be developed at a cost of Rs. 384.70 Crores, will provide the rail passengers with all the modern world-class facilities like a food court, waiting lounge, spacious parking lot, playing area for children, and designated stalls selling local antiquities & artifacts.

The station will have separate arrival and departure gates that will enable smooth and effective rail passengers’ movements with ease.

The stalls selling the local antiquities and artifacts will not only provide the artisans and craftsmen to popularize their products; but, also provide an opportunity to earn a good livelihood for their better living. The initiative will also contribute to boosting the local economy of the area.

The food stalls will provide tasty food lovers and connoisseurs with a chance to taste the special delicacies all in one place only. Along with this, the passengers will be provided with the to-and-fro facilities through the metro, bus, auto, and taxi services.
