I’ve been traveling around the globe for 3 years now. With each year the viewpoints of global citizens has gotten more and more toxic. The world seems absorbed with taking away rights that were once held. In North America and Europe, SJW’s are fighting for free speech to be taken away and for racial separation to be implemented once again. They claim all white males are evil because we may or may not be related to someone that owned a black person when slavery was legal. I’ve been accused of this, and I’ve explained that my ancestors (who are Scandinavian) owned white people, more specifically the Irish and that my family married into the Irish. You cannot judge a person for something that happened in the past, as demonstrated. Voices, especially of the right and far right, a viewpoint I don’t agree with, have my sympathy as I watch their free speech being flushed down into the toilet that is SJW nonsense. In middle eastern countries, another, similar ideology is comdeming people for factors they are born with such as sexual orientation. Now whenever I bring this up I am deemed as racist and intolerant of Muslims. Rather it’s not the people I’m afraid of, it’s the ideology. Many, if not most of my close friends are Muslim and they are sweet, amazing people that I’d give my life for. Saying that, however, if you mention the rights of homosexuals, women or freedom of speech, they tend to veer slightly off the rails in a nature that would seen foreign to them. Their outlook on life changes in an instant and they become almost barbaric towards a certain group. In no way do I blame them, as it is clearly the result of indoctrination. But if it can have such a large effect on citizens of the westernized world, imagine the effect it can and will have on those who grow up without opposing viewpoints. I could go on and on about how we, the citizens of the world, are slowly regressing into times long past, but I wanted to make this post short and sweet.
Thanks,
NorthernZeros
